The operator of Marquebooks and
Marque Motor Books is Peter Reynell, known to some for his role in
administering motor sport in NSW some years ago, to others for his involvement
in rail preservation. Peter understands steam [it burns!] and has owned and
operated many mechanical devices over the years, including cars. It is
this practical knowledge which helps him help you to get the right manual for
your car, bike, outboard, steam or diesel locomotive, washing machine [yes,
chainsaws, line trimmers, and lawn mowers too]. Marquebooks and Marque Motor Books
carries over 1000 different shop manuals for cars, motor cycles
and outboard motors; titles by Gregorys, Haynes, Autobooks, Chilton, Seloc,
Robert Bentley and Clymer. Max Ellery publications from Australia are carried
too. Original factory manuals are stocked for most
Australian manufacturers and there are pre-loved manuals for some brands. Email

. Restoration "how to" books form another part of the
stock at Marquebooks and Marque Motor Books, as do histories of the
various marques and the companies which have created them for our enjoyment.
Many " how to make it better" books are also stocked. Various aspects
of motor sport are covered in other books. An increasing range of train
books is stocked, as are some aircraft books. One should appreciate, however, that books age,
they go out of print, and there are many topics.That is why our web site is
different from others......listed in these pages are books which are actually in
stock; or which are on order for delivery in the next month or so. Books which
have been in stock, books about to be published, books being thought about, and
"remember that book about" books are not listed , but please ask, by phone or
email peter@marquebooks.com.au .

changing..for example, early in 2006 Haynes, Gregorys and Chilton manual prices
went up..I do not alter prices of items in stock, but if I have to get a copy in
