Payment and Pricing Details
We accept American Express, Visa and Mastercard... and can do
EFTPOS... Australian personal cheques are ok, subject to clearance, Money Orders
are acceptable. If an item appears in the stock list it has been in stock,
but may have been sold, therefore It is wise to ring or
email peter@marquebooks.com.au to check the
potential availability of books as some books, once sold, are
irreplacable.
From April 2005 you can also use PayPal the account name
is Marquebooks [Peter Reynell]
Prices shown reflect in-shop stock pricing, our policy is to not
alter prices of books unless we buy replacement stock at new recommended retail
prices. Most Haynes Manuals are now $A57.95; most Gregorys are $54.95;
Gregorys four wheel drive manuals are $59.95.....but personal shoppers
can expect a reduction for cash.
Delivery
Experience is that
Australia Post's Express Satchels are the most cost-effective compromise, within
Australia, as many destinations are next day delivery. Manuals fit into the
larger size which cost, including GST, $10. Smaller books will fit into the
$7 size, but if you have a preferred alternative form of delivery, please
let me know. Ordinary Parcel Post to NSW destinations is $ 5.80 but, whilst
it is a good reliable service, parcels cannot be tracked as well as the Express
satchels can.
Automatic postage quotes appear when you proceed to the
Ezimerchant Checkout. These quotes include the Australian GST.Note that this
automated postage quotation system has limitations, as it is based on
averages.If the postage cost is less than the system says, after allowing where
necessary for the actual cost of an envelope and protective material.then
you will be charged the lesser rate. You will never, ever, be charged more
than the system throws up.
Outside Australia, we must charge actual costs.
Please ask for a quote; as there is now almost no surface overseas parcel
post.
REFUNDS
If for any
reason you are not satisfied with any purchases you make from this site simply
return your purchase within 7 days of receipt for a full refund - no
questions asked. Sorry we cannot refund freight charges on delivery and return
of goods.
GOODS DAMAGED IN
TRANSIT
If your purchase is damaged in transit we will send you a
"no charge" replacement, freight free. You will need to return the damaged
product (or fragments which demonstrate reasonable evidence of breakage in the
case of international orders) to us for assessment.
METHOD OF REFUNDS
Marquebooks and
Marque Motor Books will refund to your credit card, or we can
post a cheque or international money order.

All we ask is that
you print and fill in the Returns Form below, and return the product in its
original condition with its packaging. We will also need a copy of your order
confirmation record and goods receipt.
